Bowlmark version 1.0 is designed as a local-only app. The developer does not collect data from the app.
This policy describes the local-only version of Bowlmark. It must be updated before a future version adds cloud accounts, analytics, or any other collection.
Information stored on your device
Bowlmark can store information you enter, including bowler names, bowling centers, lane details, equipment, games, deliveries, pin leaves, notes, preferences, and calculated statistics. These records are stored locally so scorekeeping works without internet access.
Information we collect
The developer does not receive or collect your Bowlmark records in version 1.0. The app does not include advertising, analytics, cross-app tracking, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs.
Apple processes App Store purchases under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. Bowlmark does not receive your payment-card details.
Exporting and sharing
When you choose Export JSON, Bowlmark prepares a file and opens your device's share interface. You decide which app, person, or service receives the export. Their privacy practices apply after you share it.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain on your device until you erase them in Bowlmark, remove the app, or your device or operating-system backup settings remove them. The developer cannot view, restore, or delete local records because the developer does not receive them.
To erase Bowlmark's local database, open More → Data and privacy → Erase all local data. This action is permanent on that device, so export first if you need a copy.
Children's privacy
Bowlmark is a general-audience sports utility and is not directed to children under 13. The local-only app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
Security and your device
Bowlmark uses the storage and security features provided by your device and operating system. Protect your device with a passcode, install operating-system updates, and store exported files securely. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This page will be updated when Bowlmark's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the app and App Store disclosures as required.
